Today as I walk around in my heels which are specifically designed to make your feet look small, I'm reminded of The Good Earth. I'm forced to take short steps, which greatly hinder my mobility and speed. Of course, the women of bound feet experienced even more difficulty and a greater pain than we do in heels, but still...I feel a bit of comradery!
