Family Facts

Chad sent me the link to Ancestry.com's Family Facts page. I've always been interested in geneaology and other family stuffs so I found this to be pretty interesting.

Check out all the different categories too (also a great time waster).
Mom would just die if she saw this. See, for some reason Oregonians hate Californians. And yes, I'm in California so essentially I have crossed over to the dark side and tread an uneasy line between what is and what was. But look, my maternal side (the whitey side) has a large volume of family in California (and other states) in the 1920's. I also noticed there's a noticeably low volume of my surname in Oregon, which is quite strange considering how we breed like rabbits.

I also looked up my brown side. There seem to be a lot of us from Cuba but then again, my paternal name is as generic as Smith so, go figure.

Rayleen, in responce to the family coming from there in the 20th......maybe thats WHY we don't like California b/c they left the trouble makers/snobs behind.........just joking!!! Actually as far as I am concern people who were born and raised in Calf should stay there and NOT COME up here to TELL US hoe to do things! AAAHHHHH Now you're getting me started!! :-) ok ok I feel better now! Thank you I needed that!

Ooops forgot my accent and put down hoe instead of how. Us mom's forget how to talk sometimes. Its the southern in us! Rmember I used to have you get the whipper whapper for baking wouldn't work for spanking. Us mom's just have our own language as you kids would drive us talking to ourselfs or speachless sometimes. hahahaha

And Mom, if all those people "born and raised in Calf" stayed there, we probably would have been born there too, seeing how Grandma is from (gasp!!!) California!!! Maybe we're Californian's at heart! AAAAhh, say it isn't so!!! (fainting)
